Role overview:
This position is for a qualified accountant to work on a variety of activities covering the four controlling areas: Financial Reporting, FP&A and Expense accounting. Activities will include providing analysis, regulatory reporting, designing and enhancing spreadsheets, problem solving, and running monthly and quarterly processes.
THE ROLE:
- Run monthly and quarterly reporting process for UK GAAP for the insurance company
- Produce and review quarterly and annual SII returns, providing analysis to senior stakeholders, and ensuring accuracy.
- Review and run monthly/ quarterly Expense reporting
- Assist in running Forecasting and Planning processes, providing model outputs and analysing performance
- Provide MI and run monthly/quarterly process
- Contribute to the broader team tasks and priorities and help to cross skill junior staff
