This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer living in the East London / Essex area to join our client on a critical environment, avoiding the hassle of commuting to Central London, working for a market leading Building Service Provider. You will gain valuable experience, additional training (High Voltage Training), the opportunity to progress internally and the opportunity to work in a critical environment. Shift pattern is continental days and nights.
This role will involve PPM and Reactive maintenance on Mechanical and Electrical systems, filling out logbooks, liaising with subcontractors and take part in High Voltage switching / shutdowns. This role follows a continental shift pattern.
Duties:
- PPMs & Reactive maintenance
- Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), UPS, LV/HV switching, Shutdowns, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, CRAC units, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps BMS Operation
- Quotations
- Health & Safety
- Logbooks
- Risk assessments
- Permits to work
Requirements:
- City & Guilds / NVQ (or equivalent) qualification in Electrical Installations
- Career driven and motivated
- Polite and personable
- Prior experience within a data centre - desirable
- High Voltage switching experience - desirable
- Experienced with working on commercial mechanical systems
Salary and Benefits:
- £50,000 + Up to £12,000 in OT earnings Total of up to £62,000
