Job title: Automation Project lead

Contract Details: 12 month contract and to start as soon as possible

Location: Based in Northampton with occasional travel to London offices

Days/hours: 8:30 am till 5:30 Monday to Friday

Pay rate: £38.46 to £43.27 per hour (weekly and holiday pay)

Would be preferable to have a background in automation or engineering or automation project delivery. Someone with technical knowledge with the skills to oversee various vendors.

Duties would include:

  • Working with the 3 Material Handling Equitment (MHE) vendors to manage, time line, scope and budget
  • Managing the interface of the vendor information and our internal tracking and governance processes
  • Working with the vendors and MHE team to agree a detailed week by week story board for the installation
  • Managing the time line holistically for the install and highlighting any dependencies and managing these through
  • Ensuring that all change and contingency requests are identified and brought to conclusion
  • Leading the vendor/ Nike weekly meeting structure and capturing accurate project records and actions
  • Maintain accurate RAID log
  • Maintain accurate project timeline
  • Manage the approved MHE budget working alongside our finance partner, including the raising of purchase orders
