Van Driver / Trade Counter Assistant

Mon - Fri - 7:30am - 5:00pm (1 hour break)
Alternate Saturday mornings - 8:00am - 12:00pm (30 min break)
Are you a skilled driver with a passion for logistics and extensive knowledge within the plumbing industry? We're seeking a reliable and customer-focused van driver / trade counter assistant to join our clients busy, fast paced organisation. You will be transporting and delivering a variety of plumbing supplies across different locations in Kent.
Your duties will include:
- Delivering various plumbing supplies to customers throughout Kent
- To advise and serve customers on the trade counter, whilst providing detailed and insightful information regarding products
- To provide customers with accurate quotations
- Helping other departments throughout the business including goods in to ensure stock is placed in the correct location
- Be involved in the stock taking process
- Assisting with the customer order process and updating inhouse system
- Various general housekeeping throughout the warehouse and trade counter
- Replenishing stock on the trade counter
The successful candidate will have / be:
- Extensive knowledge of plumbing and heating products is essential
- Previous experience of van driving
- An approachable and can – do attitude towards work
- Full UK Drivers Licence (maximum 3 points)
