Document Production Assistant
A leading firm is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Document Production Assistant to work collaboratively across multiple departments, producing and amending complex legal documents and correspondence. The role demands the ability to handle a variety of work types, adhere to the firm's house style, and deliver documents accurately and efficiently, meeting high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce and amend complex legal documents and correspondence following fee earners' instructions
- Ensure all documents comply with the firm's house style
- Handle a wide range of document types, delivering high standards of accuracy and efficiency
- Work across various departments, providing support where needed
- Use initiative to interpret requirements and produce high-quality, professional documents
Candidate Requirements
- Accurate typing speed of at least 60 words per minute
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel
- Experience in processing documents from digital dictation
- Ability to repair and amend problematic documents
- Attention to detail with strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask
- Confident working independently and as part of a team
- Prior experience in a legal or professional services environment is beneficial but not essential
- Client focused with a professional approach to work
This is a full time position working from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday to Friday, with flexibility to consider part-time hours and the potential for home-working arrangements.
