Are you a detail-oriented finance professional looking for an exciting opportunity in the education sector? We are seeking a Finance Assistant to join our clients dedicated team. As a key member of our administrative and finance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth financial operations of their secondary school.
Responsibilities:
- Process financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
- Assist with budget management and financial reporting
- Maintain accurate records and reconcile accounts
- Collaborate with staff and external stakeholders on financial matters
- Support payroll processing and expense tracking
- Handle petty cash and other financial tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Relevant finance or accounting qualifications (e.g., AAT, ACCA, or equivalent)
- Experience working in a finance role, preferably within an educational setting
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
