Oracle Functional Consultant
Hybrid role in Reading - 1 day per week
£650 per day, inside IR35
Contract until 31st March 2025
Are you a seasoned Oracle Functional Consultant with expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and Azure? We are seeking a skilled professional to join our client's dynamic team. This hybrid role offers the perfect balance of remote work and in-office collaboration, with just one day per week required at our client's office in Reading.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document their requirements.
- Solution Design: Develop and propose solutions tailored to the business needs, leveraging Oracle EBS and Azure.
- Configuration: Configure Oracle EBS to meet organizational standards and best practices, integrating with Azure as needed.
- Testing: Create and execute test plans, coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Implementation: Manage the deployment of Oracle EBS solutions, providing post-implementation support.
- Training: Develop training materials and conduct sessions to ensure user proficiency.
- Support: Offer ongoing support and maintenance, troubleshooting issues and implementing enhancements.
Essential Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS).
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and its integration with Oracle EBS.
- Strong understanding of business processes within the relevant industry.
- Excellent analytical skills to translate complex business requirements into system configurations.
- Outstanding communication skills for stakeholder interaction.
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
- Basic technical acumen in Oracle databases and PL/SQL is advantageous.
Qualifications:
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) in relevant modules preferred.
- Certification or demonstrable experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Advanced degrees or MBA is a plus.
