We are a currently seeking a number of
Machine Operatives
for a prominent client in the FMCG sector, based in Bedford. If you are enthusiastic, focused, and ambitious with a desire to grow within a thriving business, this opportunity could be perfect for you.
Machine Operatives Key Responsibilities
- Operate bespoke machines.
- Perform quality control to ensure products meet company specifications.
- Clean equipment and maintain the production work area.
- Conduct small preventative and reactive maintenance on automated production lines.
- Provide holiday and absence cover as needed.
- Uphold high standards of health and safety practices.
- Seek to improve productivity and share best practices with other shifts.
- Develop personal skills and abilities in line with the company's progression route.
- Handle any other reasonable requests from management.
Machine Operatives Key Skills and Experience
- Advantageous to have electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic experience however not essential – as long as you are technical minded and good with computers we want to speak to you!
- Ability to understand production planning to ensure smooth workflow.
- Excellent verbal, written, and face-to-face communication skills.
- Strong time management and ability to work under pressure.
- Keen eye for detail and the ability to analyse and challenge data.
