Position: Learning Support Assistant

Hours: Full-time (5 days per week)
Role Overview: As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support students' learning and well-being. Your role will involve assisting students individually or in small groups, promoting inclusivity, and fostering independence.

Work with secondary-aged pupils, providing academic and pastoral support.

Establish productive relationships with students, acting as a positive role model.

Encourage interaction and cooperation among students.

Promote independence and recognize self-reliance achievements.

Support for Teachers:

Assist in delivering teaching objectives.

Monitor student responses to learning activities.

Provide accurate feedback on student progress.

Manage the learning environment and resources effectively.

Support for the Curriculum:

Deliver learning activities, adjusting based on student needs.

Utilize ICT effectively to enhance learning.

Prepare resources tailored to student interests and backgrounds.

Ensure equal access to learning opportunities for all students.
Requirements:
- Experience in a support role within a primary, secondary SEN school, or PRU.
- Passion for helping students succeed.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
