Our client is embarking on a significant Finance and HR transformation programme within the public sector. They are seeking an experienced Payroll Transformation Consultant to join their team in Belfast. This role will involve the procurement of a new outsourced provider for payroll processing, redesigning the operating model, supporting processes, and transitioning from the legacy provider to the new one. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll processes, tax requirements, employment legislation, and experience with Oracle Cloud Solutions.

What you'll do:
As a Payroll Transformation Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in our client's Finance and HR transformation programme. Your primary responsibility will be to procure a new outsourced provider for payroll processing. You will also be tasked with redesigning the operating model and supporting processes. A key aspect of your role will involve transitioning from the legacy provider to the new one. You will engage stakeholders in a complex client environment with multiple legal entities and terms and conditions. Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of payroll data through transfer will be crucial. Additionally, you will manage multiple outsourced payroll providers.

What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Payroll Transformation Consultant role brings a wealth of experience in payroll transformation and implementation. With at least 10 years under your belt, you have developed a strong understanding of payroll processes, tax requirements, and employment legislation. Your experience with Oracle Cloud Solutions sets you apart from others. You have previously designed operating models for HR, including payroll, and have experience procuring outsourced payroll providers. Your project management skills enable you to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- At least 10 years of payroll transformation and implementation experience
- Strong understanding of payroll process, tax requirements, and employment legislation
- Significant experience of payroll systems, preferably Oracle Cloud Solutions
- Experience designing operating models for HR, including payroll
- Experience procuring outsourced payroll providers
- Project management experience
