I am currently seeking to recruit experienced and qualified Lever 3 Early Years Practitioners to join an intimate and friendly at a beautiful little nursery in the Thurnscoe area. The Nursery are passionate about fostering an environment where children feel valued and can develop into independent, confident individuals.

Children are the fore-front of this nursery, their enjoyment and engagement is key to their success and the staff really focus on creating activities where the children are able to develop their independence and identity.

To the nursery, this time of life for children is paramount in laying the foundations for their future school experience; there aim is to ensure that learning and fun go hand-in-hand to create a positive association with learning.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Deliver high-quality care and learning opportunities for children based on their individual needs and interests.
  • Plan and implement engaging activities that promote child development and learning.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a warm and inclusive environment for children to thrive.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with parents and carers, ensuring regular communication about their child's progress.
  • Observe, assess, and record each child's growth and development, adapting strategies as needed.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A relevant Early Years qualification at Level 3 or above.
  • Experience working in an early years setting.
  • A thorough understanding of the EYFS and child development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A friendly and approachable manner.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality childcare.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and build strong relationships with staff, children, and parents.
