Alderley Park Recruitment are currently looking to recruit a Wealth Management Administrator for our notable Wealth Management client based in London (The City). The role is based on site and is paying a salary of £28,000 per annum. Experience of working within an IFA/Wealth Management Practice is essential.

Role Overview:

The Wealth Management Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting the financial advisors and ensuring the smooth running of our clients operations. This role involves managing client communications, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will have strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Support: Act as the first point of contact for clients, providing excellent service and handling queries via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Administrative Duties: Manage client documentation, including the preparation of reports, client agreements, and investment proposals. Maintain accurate records on the company's CRM system.
  • Appointment Coordination: Schedule client meetings, prepare necessary documentation, and ensure advisors have all required information prior to meetings.
  • Compliance: Ensure all client files and communications comply with FCA regulations and company policies. Assist with compliance checks and audits as required.
  • Portfolio Management Support: Assist advisors with portfolio administration, including processing new business applications, fund switches, and withdrawals.
  • Data Management: Update and maintain client records, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date. Manage data entry for new clients and keep track of ongoing client requirements.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with financial advisors, paraplanners, and other team members to ensure a seamless service delivery to clients.

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar administrative role within wealth management or financial services is essential.
  • Education: A good level of education, ideally with qualifications in finance, business administration, or related disciplines. Professional qualifications such as the CII Award in Financial Administration are advantageous.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with financial planning software or CRM systems.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and personable approach.
