As a Water Recycling Network Manager, you will play a key role in delivering our purpose. You will be accountable for the sewerage network and water recycling collection system from customers' homes to the receiving water recycling centre at optimal cost whilst complying with all relevant statutory requirements and company policies. Your responsibility will span across Grantham, Boston and Peterborough.

You will take a proactive approach to operational excellence and you'll champion a culture where performance is paramount. Through your commitment to environmental stewardship, you will actively strive to minimise any adverse effects on the environment, customers, and downstream treatment processes.

Duties will include:

  • Reducing significant pollution incidents
  • Ensuring that planned and reactive work are carried out safely and effectively
  • Collaborating with and supporting colleagues to ensure effective operations across catchments as well as effective maintenance and investment.
  • Effectively managing operational incidents and escalating appropriately
  • Ensuring assets are maintained in accordance with standards, service levels and company policy
  • Critically reviewing asset history and job data to enhance infrastructure performance, service, and efficiency
  • Collaborating with colleagues across the business to ensure excellent service delivery to all customers
  • Identifying capital investment needs and promote business cases.

What does it take to be a Network Manager?

  • A passion for the environment and customer service to the community we serve
  • A 'Great' people person , able to interact with multiple teams not just your own
  • A technical qualification, or experience that demonstrates equivalent capacity and knowledge
  • Management of operational service provision, suppliers, and contractors
  • Demonstrable experience in the management of teams in an operational environment
  • Experience of H&S legislation and its application in the workplace
  • Experience of managing a budget
  • Strong communicator who can liaise with both internal and external customers including regulatory bodies.
  • Working knowledge of the key legislation impacting WR Networks (e.g., H&SAWA, WIA, NRSWA, EPA)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Competent user of IT
  • Expected to work on a standby escalation team on a pre agreed rota (paid)
