*** EXPERIENCED CNC MACHINISTS REQUIRED FULL TIME & PART TIME SHIFTS AVAILABLE ***
Premier Recruitment are working with our client in Leicestershire who are looking to recruit both Part time and full time CNC machinists for their busy operation. The role is permanent and to start as soon as possible.
CNC Machinist Job Role:
- Ability to programme, set and operate CNC Milling machine
- Experience using Siemens or FANUC control systems - preferably both
- Determine the fixtures, attachments and tools necessary to complete jobs according to specifications
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings competently
- Quality Control and Inspection - Ensure parts are manufactured correctly and to the specifications required. 1st off inspection
- Improve machine speeds, sets up etc to improve efficiency
- Operate CNC lathe - programming welcome but not essential
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly maintenance tasks to ensure machine longevity, including lubrication, cleaning and tool replacement
- EDM Experience - Preferred but not essential
- General workshop duties
CNC Machinist Experience:
- Previous experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role
- Proficiency in operating CNC machines and related equipment
- Familiarity with CAD software
- Ability to use power tools and hand tools effectively
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining principles
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Experience with tooling selection, setup, and maintenance
- Ability to assemble components according to specifications
