Finance Apprentice
A company is seeking a Finance Apprentice to support the finance team, offering a career start in Finance through a blended apprenticeship programme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing supplier plant and subcontractor loan labour invoices
- Raising invoice queries with suppliers/site management
- Recording accounting transactions timely and accurately
- Conducting statement reconciliations
- Using financial accounting and reporting systems
- Ensuring compliance with payment terms and company terms
- Supporting the finance team and promoting company values
Key Accountabilities:
- Providing and interpreting financial information
- Efficiently processing information
- Producing accurate financial reports to deadlines
Skills and Competence:
- Excellent communication skills
- A Levels (A*- C) including English, Maths, or Business, or equivalent Level 3 qualification
- GCSE (Grade 5-9 / A*- C) in Maths and English
- Motivated to learn, analytical thinker, team player, proactive
- Familiar with Microsoft packages
Interpersonal Skills:
- Highly motivated, logical thinker, structured approach
- Resilient, flexible, results-driven, strong communication skills
- Works well in a team
Desirable:
- Finance experience
Essential:
- Right to work in the UK for the duration of the Apprenticeship Programme
