About your role:
Working within DSV Solutions (Global LMS & Remakers) you will be a key member of an international team, you will set up and lead projects from a technical perspective to support DSV's objective to establish a global RF Telecoms Equipment repair footprint.
What your day-to-day looks like: Your job will have 4 parts....
As a Project Engineer you will be responsible for all technical and engineering aspects of projects. You will plan, schedule and manage all the technical tasks and will work to ensure the project delivered on time and within budget – You will be the project technical interface with the customer.
As a Telecoms Electronics Technician you will be responsible for setting up and implementing new processes and procedures to diagnose and repair faults with RF Telecoms equipment.
As a Test Engineer you will establish test procedures (Mechanical and electrical) to verify that all technical issues have been repaired and remedied and that the equipment works correctly before delivery back to the customer.
And finally, you will document all processes and procedures and deploy training to ensure the local project and operations staff are able to offer its' customers the highest possible quality of repair services.
Ideally what we expect you to bring:
- Either: City and Guilds / ONC / HNC / HND / degree in electronics.
- MIN 10 years experience of repairing / testing telecoms RF equipment.
- Experience in both analogue and digital technologies.
- Team spirited, well organized with a disposition to be accurate and pays attention to detail.
- Extensive experience in technical project management especially involving Telecoms RF devices.
It's a bonus if you also have:
- Customer facing experience and able to work directly with customers to lead discussions.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic and multi-national group with several ongoing concurrent projects.
