Position: Jr GIS Consultant
Location: Shropshire, United Kingdom
Salary: Up to £25,000 - £30,000 DOE per annum
Role Overview:
Are you a Jr GIS Analyst? Are you passionate about sustainability and climate action? Would you like to be a key contributor in providing insights that drive meaningful environmental change around the UK?
Chapman Tate have partnered with a prominent environmental client that are looking for a Junior GIS Analyst to turn their environmental data into actionable insights and impactful solutions.
Technical Skills:
- Proven expertise in QGIS and CAD
- Strong knowledge of GIS and/or Spatial Data Analysis
- Comfortable working with large data sets, with a strong statistical and analytical mindset
- Familiarity with programming languages, preferably Python
Desirable Skills:
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Geography, GIS, Environmental Studies, or a related field
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex information to clients and stakeholders
- Experience in technical reporting
- Full driving license with the flexibility to travel to client sites as needed
Additional Information:

Industry experience is a plus, but we also welcome graduates with strong interest and commercial awareness.
