GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Modern Foreign Language Teacher who can teach French and German to students at a reputed secondary school in Medway. As a Modern Foreign Language Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons in both French and German to students at the secondary level. Your role will include planning and marking, ensuring that students receive high-quality education and achieve their full potential.
Modern Foreign Language Teacher Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in French and German that align with the national curriculum and cater to the diverse learning needs and abilities of students.
- Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to express themselves and develop their language skills.
- Utilise a variety of teaching strategies, resources, and technology tools to enhance student engagement and facilitate active participation in language learning.
- Assess student progress, provide timely feedback, and mark student work to support their academic growth and development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and initiatives that integrate language learning with other subjects and real-world contexts.
Requirements for Modern Foreign Language Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in French, German, or a related discipline.
- Strong subject knowledge and expertise in teaching both French and German at the secondary level.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- A creative and innovative approach to teaching, with the ability to inspire and motivate students to explore the world of languages and develop their linguistic abilities.
- Experience in planning and marking, ensuring that students receive constructive feedback to aid their learning.
