Sewell Wallis are recruiting for a Financial Controller on an exclusive basis to join a successful business on the outskirts of Leeds.
This is a number 2 Finance role, reporting to the Finance Director and our client is looking for an individual who can mentor and manage a well established team.
You will be a qualified Accountant, ideally CIMA / ACA / ACCA and have experience in a fast paced environment.
What will you be doing?
- Producing monthly management accounts.
- Leading the budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Monitoring cash flow forecasting.
- Statutory accounts preparation.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Monitoring KPI's.
- Analysing financial performance.
- Financial due diligence.
- Dealing with tax queries.
- Implementing policies and procedures.
- Acting as the main point of contact for the auditors.
- Presenting financial information to key stakeholders.
- Assisting with systems improvements.
- Providing support on key projects.
What skills do we need?
- Fully qualified Accountant, ideally CIMA / ACA / ACCA.
- Team management experience.
- Knowledge of statutory reporting.
- Strong analytical and systems skills.
- Confident communicator with the ability to present financial information to stakeholders.
