Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time (part-time considered), temporary with potential for long-term placements
Salary: £100 - £115 per day
About the Role:
As a Behaviour Support Worker, you'll work closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to support students on a one-to-one or small group basis. Your role will involve promoting positive behaviour, managing challenging situations, and helping students engage with their learning in a safe, supportive environment.
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- Experience working with young people in a school or youth/community setting
- Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
- A calm, confident, and resilient approach
- The ability to build positive relationships and act as a role model
- Knowledge of trauma-informed practice or SEMH (desirable)
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
