About the Role:
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team in Glasgow. This is a part-time position, offering early morning shifts, perfect for someone looking to fit work around other commitments. Immediate start is available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Cleaning: Perform daily cleaning duties across various areas of the school, including classrooms, corridors, restrooms, and communal areas.
- Sanitization: Ensure all high-touch surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
- Waste Management: Empty bins and dispose of waste according to school policies and environmental guidelines.
- Floor Care: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, ensuring they are kept in pristine condition.
- Restocking Supplies: Monitor and restock cleaning supplies as needed, notifying the supervisor of any shortages.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, particularly those related to working in a school environment.
- Reporting: Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to the school management.
Requirements:
- PVG Clearance: Due to the nature of the work environment, applicants must have a current PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) clearance.
- Experience: Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure high cleaning standards are maintained.
- Punctuality: Ability to consistently start work on time and complete duties within the allocated hours.
