Description
Assistant Management Accountant responsibilities include:
- To work with the Management Accountant assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Updating of monthly branch overheads to provide accurate overheads data
- Accruals and prepayments
- Assistance with Balance sheet reconciliations
- Assistance with the preparation of VAT submissions
- Assistance with preparation of annual budgets
- Providing assistance to the Management Accountant and other members of the Finance team as required
- Ad-hoc tasks as required
Profile
The candidate will have:
- Experience working within an Accounts role - Required
- Some understanding of month end processeses - Desirable
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal - Required
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel - Required
- Ability to work towards deadlines - Required
- Good organisational, time-management and interpersonal skills - Required
