Our client are a well-established main contractor based in Glasgow, with a reputation for delivering high-quality construction projects across the education and commercial sectors. They are currently seeking to appoint a qualified Site Engineer on a permanent basis to their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and managing all on-site technical and engineering matters related to our projects across the commercial and education sectors.
- Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and other professional staff, especially quantity surveyors and the overall project manager.
- Providing technical advice and solving problems on-site.
- Ensuring project packages meet agreed specifications, budgets, and/or timescales.
- Checking and preparing site reports, designs, and drawings.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer, preferably within the education and commercial sectors.
- Proficient in site layout, setting out.
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
