- Oversee the management of customs compliance within the supply chain department.
- Develop and implement strategic compliance plans for import/export activities.
- Maintain updated knowledge of all relevant customs laws and regulations.
- Coordinate with various teams to ensure compliance across the company.
- Provide training and guidance on customs regulations to team members.
- Manage audits and inspections for customs compliance.
- Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk.
- Implement corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues.

A successful Customs Compliance Manager should have:
- A proven track record within the logistics distribution and supply chain sector
- Proven experience in a compliance role
- Strong knowledge of import/export customs regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle audits and inspections.
- Regularly commutable to Birmingham
