Purchase Ledger Clerk

Join my clients dynamic accounts team as a Purchase Ledger Clerk at Manchester Airport, where you'll play a pivotal role in invoice processing and operational support. Working closely with their operations department, you'll ensure smooth accrual release and streamline purchase ledger invoice workflows through their operational software system.
The ideal candidate will possess the following-

  • Prior experience in invoice processing, along with a fundamental grasp of supplier transactions.
  • Minimum of 1 year's experience in Purchase Ledger or Operational Support.
  • Able to navigate between departments and confidently engage with both internal colleagues and external suppliers via telephone and email.
  • Proficiency in Sage 50 Accounts software will be advantageous.
  • Efficiently schedule and prioritise communication with customers across various time zones.

While primarily focused on purchase ledger responsibilities, candidates with experience in other areas of accounts are encouraged to apply. Flexibility is key, as occasional ad hoc reports and duties may arise to support the broader accounts team.

Additional information-

  • Monday to Friday (no weekends)
  • Hours 8.30am - 5pm (1 hour for lunch)
  • 23 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Free parking
  • Candidate must drive
  • £24,000 - £28,000 depending on experience
