Position Overview:
The HSEQ Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining health, safety, environmental, and quality management systems across all company projects. This role requires a proactive leader with extensive experience in HSEQ and a strong background in the construction industry. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Implement HSEQ Policies:

Design and implement comprehensive HSEQ policies and procedures.

Ensure compliance with local, national, and international HSEQ regulations and standards.

Update and revise policies as necessary to reflect changes in regulations and industry standards.

Risk Management:

Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify and mitigate potential HSEQ risks.

Implement effective risk control measures and monitor their effectiveness.

Training and Development:

Develop and deliver HSEQ training programs for employees at all levels.

Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement regarding HSEQ practices.

Audits and Inspections:

Conduct regular HSEQ audits and inspections across all projects.

Ensure corrective actions are implemented and followed up in a timely manner.

Incident Investigation:

Lead investigations into HSEQ incidents and near misses.

Develop and implement corrective and preventive measures to avoid recurrence.

Reporting and Documentation:

Prepare and present detailed HSEQ performance reports to senior management.

Maintain accurate records of HSEQ activities, incidents, and training.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders on HSEQ matters.

Represent the company in HSEQ meetings and forums.
Qualifications and Experience:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Relevant professional certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, IEMA) are highly desirable.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years' experience in an HSEQ role within the construction industry.

Proven track record of successfully managing HSEQ systems and initiatives in a construction environment.
