HLTA (Interviews this week!)
Salary: £95-£100 per day
Location: DN12
Role: 4 days a week, temporary
I am currently looking for an experienced and passionate HLTA to support a wonderful school in the DN12 area of Doncaster. This role is exclusive to me and is to work within a Multi-Academy Trust school with whom we have developed a strong working relationship.
The role is for half a term initially, with potential to extend, and it is to work within the EYFS and KS1 classes proving PPA and leadership cover to support the class teachers.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Lead whole class teaching activities, following plans set out by the class teacher.
- Assist with lesson planning and the preparation of teaching materials.
- Support the delivery of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum, with an emphasis on phonics.
- Provide targeted support to children with SEND/SEMH on a 1:1 basis, as needed.
- Assess student progress and report back to teachers and parents.
- Contribute to a safe and stimulating learning environment for all children.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must hold a relevant HLTA qualification.
- Experience in leading whole class teaching is essential.
- Some lesson planning experience is desirable.
- A good understanding of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum, including phonics.
- Experience in supporting children with SEND/SEMH on a 1:1 basis is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
