Inventory Planning Supervisor

Our client, who is a growing business, are looking to recruit Inventory Planning Supervisor. This is a new role in the business to support an exciting period of growth & transition for the company. Your role will involve collaborating with both your team and external partners to oversee and optimise inventory levels, ensuring efficient supply and minimal waste. The role is Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm, hybrid 1 day work from home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels, manage purchase orders, and control budgets.
- Identify and address potential inventory issues to minimise financial risk and customer dissatisfaction.
- Collaborate with product development to scale up and set up systems for new items.
- Communicate with warehouse and internal departments to ensure smooth order delivery.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping in the ERP system and coordinate with finance on invoices.
Key Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in inventory and supply chain management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems for managing inventory and product data.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams.
- Analytical skills to identify and mitigate inventory risks.
- Experience in managing a team and collaborating on cross-functional projects
