We are in search of a committed Learning Coach with a zeal for teaching life skills and a background in Further Education, especially in supporting SEND students. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a variety of programmes, including Apprenticeship standards, Adult Education, or Study Programmes, to a caseload of learners. This role requires a commitment to ensuring high-quality learning experiences and outcomes, utilising a range of effective teaching methods and providing excellent support, coaching, and mentoring.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Manage and maintain a caseload of learners, conducting regular learner interventions.
  • Capture evidence for learning, achievement, funding, and Ofsted effectively and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure 20% On-the-Job Training requirements are fully met and recorded.
  • Collaborate with learners' line managers to support and guide the learning process.
  • Plan and prepare for the end point assessment process with learners and employers.
  • Inspire and motivate learners, identifying and overcoming any barriers to their success.
  • Deliver Maths, English, and ICT (where applicable) to support learners' achievement and progress.
  • Provide accurate marking and feedback to support learner development.
  • Work closely with Internal Quality Assurers (IQAs) to ensure best practices and development needs are met.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with employers, ensuring progression and generating new leads.
  • Produce accurate and timely reports based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Contribute to the creation of high-quality learning materials and uphold the values of the organisation through positive behaviours and attitudes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in delivering educational programmes and managing a learner caseload.
  • Familiarity with Apprenticeship standards, Adult Education, or Study Programmes.
  • Ability to capture and record evidence for various quality and regulatory standards.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire learners.
  • Competence in delivering Maths, English, and ICT to support learner development.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with learners, employers, and internal teams.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and addressing learners' needs and barriers.
  • Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
