Due to expansion and growth we have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Project Assistant to work within their Product Communications Marketing Team for a prestigious automotive client.

Purpose of the role:

The Marketing Project Assistant will be responsible to create digital brochure content for new and updated vehicle models. Co-ordinate with client product teams and key stakeholders within the business.

This is a hybrid role between their office in Farnborough and home.

What will a Marketing Project Assistant be doing:

  • Manage creation of new car digital brochures including copywriting, image sourcing, retouching briefs to studio and marking up pdfs
  • Apply brochure content updates in line with product changes (text and imagery)
  • Integrate with day-to-day clients, embrace client culture while applying a professional and value added approach
  • Co-ordinate with and assist Product teams to produce accurate materials to meet communication and launch deadlines
  • Attend product previews to gain understanding model positioning and key selling points
  • Proof reading in respect of the CI and tone of voice
  • Budget planning, setting up jobs on management info system, raising estimates, invoicing
  • Consistently strives to develop product knowledge and to be continually apprised of model changes and new technologies

Knowledge & Skills

  • Excellent attention to detail is essential, in particular accuracy and consistency
  • Copywriting combined with an excellent command of English (written)
  • Critical and creative eye for design
  • Project management skills, mainly the ability to deliver projects on time
  • Agile, organised, methodical and resourceful in their way of working
  • Proven ability to build effective relationships with the client, their partners and Content team
  • Core Microsoft Office skills including Excel and Word. Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and InDesign

The Marketing Project Assistant is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and talent in a varied and enjoyable. Keen to invite candidates from a copywriting or marketing background, but not essential.
