Reed Secure are working with large public sector organisation who are looking to recruit Internal Communications Manager
- 4-6 months duration.
- Inside IR35.
- Pay range £200-300 p/d. Umbrella
- Desirable vetting clearance required: CTC.
- Work pattern: 36 hours a week. You will be required to work some weekend shifts and out of hours with appropriate notice. You will be part of an internal communication on-call rota.
- Location: New Scotland Yard, Westminster. You may be expected to work occasionally at other buildings across London as part of a blended working agreement. There are also some opportunities for remote working when appropriate.
Our client is looking for someone to support the delivery of new project in through effective internal communication.
This role will focus on delivering insight driven, behaviour change led campaigns to either internal audience; finding creative and innovative ways to communicate corporate updates to colleagues, including ensuring delivery of a regular drumbeat of proactive stories that build pride.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
In this role you will demonstrate a broad spectrum of modern communication skills and have exceptional written, verbal and storytelling skills and expertise and good experience of communicating to internal audiences, ideally in a large or complex organisation.
- Experience of developing a strategy
- Experience of translating business challenges into successful integrated communication strategies, aligned to the departmental priorities, informed by insight, with measurable objectives and evaluation of success.
- Proficient in tailoring content, reaching and driving positive engagement with target audiences, including internal hard to reach.
- Be both curious and confident with data, ensuring recommendations are backed up with sound evidence.
- Experience of developing strong networks and influencing others, with strong stakeholder management skills at different levels of seniority.
- Experience of managing complex and challenging communication topics, with empathy.
- Ability to identify and maximise proactive communication opportunities.
- Knowledge of best practice accessible communications and experience of implementing into content.
- Ability to multi-task, manage your communication projects and prioritise to ensure delivery.
- Ability to work flexibly, respond with resilience and initiative when priorities shift, and adapt approach to changed requirements.
