We are seeking a highly motivated customer service assistant to join our client's emergency services team. This role is based in a bustling Control Room environment, where you will be an integral part of a dedicated team, providing vital support to our service area and management team.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Provide strong administrative support within the Control Room, ensuring efficient operation of the service.
- Handle incoming calls with professionalism, managing inquiries from customers, internal departments, and external agencies.
- Utilize various computer systems to manage and record data accurately.
- Monitor closed-circuit television (CCTV) as part of the security and surveillance operations.
- Coordinate responses to other teams, ensuring timely and effective communication.
- Take out-of-hours calls, providing assistance and directing queries to appropriate parties as needed.
About You:
- Enthusiastic, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality support.
- Educated to at least GCSE level with qualifications in Maths and English.
- Proven experience in an administrative role, with a significant focus on call handling.
- Excellent telephone manner and strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
