Are you an experienced Electrical Project Manager looking to take on a pivotal role in one of the most iconic buildings in the world? We are seeking a dedicated professional to manage the electrical aspects of a prestigious project at the Houses of Parliament. This role requires someone with the expertise to handle complex, high-profile projects and deliver exceptional results in a demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all electrical work for the Houses of Parliament project, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the project progresses smoothly, on time, and within budget.
  • Lead the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, with a focus on precision and compliance with heritage and conservation standards.
  • Engage with contractors, suppliers, and key stakeholders to maintain project momentum and address any challenges that arise.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant regulations, including those specific to historic and high-security environments.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress, identifying potential risks and implementing effective solutions.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager, ideally on high-profile or heritage projects.
  • Strong background in managing complex electrical installations in challenging settings.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership abilities, with experience working with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • A thorough understanding of safety regulations and best practices, particularly in historic or sensitive environments.
