Summary:

A new role has opened up for a motivated and ambitious 1st / 2nd Line Support Technician to join a Manchester-based MSP, close to accessible transport links. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring their loyal client base receive quality resolutions. This is a really exciting opportunity to join a friendly and customer-driven team.

You will be working at a company with a proven track-record of promoting from within, so this is a great opportunity to work alongside a team that will support and encourage personal growth and career progression.

The job is being offered on a hybrid basis with an initial 4 days per week in the office whilst you settle in, to then be reduced to 2-3 days.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Respond to client queries and issues via email, phone or ticketing system in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide first-line / second-line technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve client-reported issues related to our software.
  • Contribute and document to the creation and maintenance of support documentation.
  • Assist in the delivery of technical projects
  • Monitor system alerts and notifications
  • Proactively identify and address and potential issues or anomalies.
  • Conduct initial diagnosis of technical problems, escalate complex issues to the development team and follow up to ensure timely resolution
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless client support and improvement.
  • Adherence to SLAs

What They're Looking for:

  • Proven experience in a customer-facing technical support role, preferably in an MSP company.
  • Strong technical abilities and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to quickly learn and troubleshoot software applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with ticketing systems
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong sense of accountability and attention to detail.
  • Skillset: Windows, O365, MS Excel,
