Global Process Specialist (Warehouse Management) - Reading,c£75k
I am working with a globally recognised roofing and waterproofing company, who are currently building out their new Global Process core team. This is run by the Global Process Owner, who is looking for 3 Global Process Specialist's to run smaller a smaller specific team which has a focus around Warehouse Management.
The ideal candidate for this role will have strong experience in process standardisation, improvement, and efficiency. You will also need to be an expert in Warehouse Management Systems and SAP - having experience a WMS implementation.
The role is based in Reading, and requires travel to the office - three times per week is the company policy. There will also be travel to the organisations different warehouse's/production sites, this can be UK or Europe based and will make up 20% of contracted time - travel expenses will be covered.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Ensures that standard process, systems, documentation, compliance, are in place to provide highly effective and efficient end-to-end processes for the warehouse management process area.
- To act as a SME (subject matter expert) and key functional contact for business partners in all matters concerning the warehouse management process.
- Experience leading or managing warehouse operations
- Experience in delivering one full cycle implementation of a WMS - EWM
- Working knowledge of SAP
