Technical Sales Specialist - Clinical Microbiology
Location: Field-based, ideally within 2 hours of Stoke-on-Trent

Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
- Promote and sell a diverse range of microbiological products to clinical and private laboratories.
- Identify and target new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Develop and nurture long-term relationships with existing clients by delivering high levels of customer service and technical support.
Product Knowledge & Support:
- Utilise in-depth product knowledge to provide technical advice and guidance to customers.
- Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and workshops for new and existing clients.
Strategic Planning & Reporting:
- Create and execute strategic sales plans to achieve growth targets within the territory.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market insights using CRM systems.
Market Awareness & Feedback:
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies.
- Collect and relay customer feedback to internal teams to support future product development and innovation.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in biomedical sciences (microbiology, clinical science, or a related field).
- 1-2 years of sales experience in the life sciences or diagnostics industry is preferred but not essential.
- Strong candidates with a solid clinical microbiology background and a desire to transition into sales will also be considered.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
