Salary: £29,000

Hours: Full Time

Location: Woodbridge/Hybrid

Our client, a leader in the innovation of cloud telephony technology is looking for a Sales Support Executive to join their successful business. This is a hybrid role working 3 days in the office, and 2 days from home.

Description:

The principle role of the Sales Support Executive is to support the sales team with various tasks including accurately raising and issuing contract documentation to meet tight deadlines and individual customer needs.

Key Duties:

  • Administration of sales leads order and contracts
  • Handle incoming sales and operator calls and process accordingly
  • Process new sales leads, assisting Account Managers to ensure that leads are followed up in a timely manner with the aim of securing a first meeting
  • Add leads to the database and any follow up calls made when requested
  • Outbound sales calls to prospective customers as agreed with line manager and account managers
  • Process contracts/sales orders and associated pre-sales related tasks prior to handover to the Service Delivery Team
  • Raise purchase orders for train travel and hotel bookings and ad hoc purchases such as couriers
  • Create the monthly sales report for Management and Sales Meetings
  • Create ad hoc sales reports when required
  • Support Account Managers, Client Relationship Managers and Head of Sales when they are off-site/on the road and assist with travel/hotel arrangements
  • Display excellent product knowledge/verbal and written communication skills in order to be able to make a great first impression with prospective customers to be evidenced via call recordings and emails from time to time
  • Occasional site visits to assist with product knowledge as agreed with the Sales Director
  • Coordinate corporate events/exhibitions, lunchtimes, monthly reviews and sales meetings and distribute action points
  • Process orders received on behalf of the Account Managers
  • Complete administration for and behalf of remote colleagues

Key Skills/Experience Required:

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Diplomatic in approach to work with colleagues and customers
  • Excellent google skills or Microsoft which can be transferred
  • Knowledge of great customer service, internally and externally
  • Understanding of good administration and time management
  • Able to work across departments and remain calm in busy times
  • Able to balance workload
  • Proven ability to work in similar roles to a good standard
  • Qualifications to GCSE or equivalent
  • Have a keen interest in improving and assisting with the implementation of new systems and processes within a team environment
  • Any previous experience in using any of the following would be advantageous: Google Mail and Documents, Hubspot, Autotask

This is a great role for an enthusiastic and experienced Sales Support Executive to join a busy, friendly team. In return you will receive a salary of £29,000 plus excellent benefits.
