The Role

Do you possess previous supervisory experience in a management environment? Are you able to manage warehouse operations seamlessly, from handling goods in and out to coordinating and delegating multiple tasks? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.

We are an innovative components provider to the door industry, looking to appoint an experienced Warehouse Manager to our growing team.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our warehouse facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising and managing a team of up to 10 staff members.
  • Overseeing critical processes such as order picking and checking, goods in and out, stock movement, and handling warehouse staff workloads with precision and attention to detail.
  • Serving as a key holder, responsible for opening up and locking the premises, maintaining security protocols, and safeguarding company assets.
  • Managing returns and conducting quality control checks to uphold our commitment to delivering exceptional products and services to our customers.
  • Handling courier paperwork efficiently and accurately, ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of goods.
  • Demonstrating a strong understanding of health and safety legislation, implementing relevant policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all staff members.

Previous experience of the following:

  • Order Picking and Checking.
  • Goods In.
  • Goods Out.
  • Stock Movement.
  • Warehouse Staff workloads.
  • Driving License essential.
  • Staff Management including staffing levels and Reviews.
  • Health & Safety legislation knowledge.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Key Holder (Opening Up / Locking).
  • Returns / QC Checks.
  • Handling Courier Paperwork.
  • Sage experience desirable
