gap technical are proud to be representing this global manufacturing business in their search for a Sales & Logistics Administrator to work at their facility based near Tamworth
Performance Objectives
- Preparation of all documentation to enable despatch of orders on time. Paperwork will include bills of lading, release notes, test certificates and invoices.
- Booking freight forwarders for UK & Export deliveries and raising all necessary paperwork including delivery and collection manifests
- Scanning including: test certificates, invoices and all documentation
- Review raw material requirements, raise purchase orders when necessary and liaise with our USA manufacturing facilities for order status
- Raise Purchase Orders for consumables as and when required
- Preparation of weekly/monthly sales & logistics KPI's, including revenue forecast
- Monitor order book, schedule and release production works orders to maintain continuous production and buffer levels.
- Daily inventory review to release picking tickets to maintain customer delivery requirements and OTIF
- Assisting with other logistics administration as defined and when required
- Stock control of stationery consumables
- Data Entry.
- Filing, including control of the archive system.
Person Specification
- Experience of working in a manufacturing environment, using integrated ERP systems
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Good Planning and organizing skills
- Knowledge of ERP systems, Excel, database management
