Role – Industrial Cleaner position
Location – Diss, Norfolk
Working hours – Monday to Friday – 30 hours per week
Capacity of role – Temporary to Permanent position
Pay Rate - £12.00 per hour
Our client is a leading distributor and they are looking to increase their workforce by employing a Maintenance/Industrial Cleaner to join their team.
Candidates will need to be flexible to duties as this role will be a varied position
Main duties will include –
Cleaning and sanitise surfaces, floors, and equipment using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Collect and dispose of waste in designated containers.
Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, and pressure washers.
Report any maintenance issues to the maintenance team.
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
Perform routine cleaning tasks on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
Notify management of any supplies that need to be restocked.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
Candidate Attributes –
Prior experience in an industrial cleaning role.
Ability to use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Good communication skills
Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects and bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods of time.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Own transport is required due to the location
