The role of a Class 1 Driver
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 LGV Driver to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Efficiently transport containers and goods to various destinations, ensuring timely and safe delivery.
- Execute multiple deliveries as required, adhering to scheduled timelines.
- Perform drop and swap operations as needed, ensuring smooth and efficient transitions.
- Operate splitter trailers, managing complex haulage requirements.
- Safely handle and transport hazardous materials, complying with all relevant safety regulations and guidelines.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Requirements
- License: Valid Class 1 (C+E) LGV license.
- Proven experience as a Class 1 LGV driver, with a solid track record of safe and efficient driving.
- Familiarity with multi-drop deliveries, drop and swap operations, splitter trailers, and hazardous materials transportation.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle complex delivery schedules.
