Warehouse Operative
Location - New Hythe, Kent
Salary - £11.65 per hour
Hours - Monday to Thursday 08:30 - 17:00 and Friday 08:30 - 14:30

We have an amazing opportunity in New Hythe for a Warehouse Operative to work for one of our most prominent clients. In this role, you will be working full-time.
Responsibilities for the role of Warehouse Operative
- Picking & packing of customer orders
- Handle 'goods in'
- Production of samples promptly in line with customer requirements
- Ensure the use of Forklift, counterbalance & pallet pedestrian truck operation (License is desirable but not a must)
- Ensuring that all goods that are loaded/unloaded match the relevant paperwork
- Storing and rotating stock according to company procedures
- Assisting with warehouse inventory controls
- Assisting customers to load/unload orders onto their delivery vehicles
- Inventory rotations to ensure no stock goes out of date FIFO
Skills and Experience for the Role of Warehouse Operative
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills
- Must be experienced with a good understanding of warehouse activities in a fast-paced environment
- Have the ability to work collaboratively with other departments
- Must be a good timekeeper and able to work under pressure, quickly, accurately, and safely meeting deadlines
- At least 2 years' worth of experience in the same or similar role required
