Job Title: Customer Sales & Service Manager - 12 months MAT Cover

Location: Outskirts of Thatcham

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum

Our client is seeking a Customer Sales & Service Manager on 12 months MAT Cover to join their dynamic team. They are looking for someone who can provide exceptional customer service through inbound and outbound calls, while also supporting their office team to ensure customer satisfaction.

Own mode of transport is essential due to location.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage inbound customer service calls, addressing questions and queries with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Reach out to customers on call lists to encourage repeat business and promote the range or current promotional offers.
  • Fluent knowledge of the portfolio to engage customers and increase sales.
  • Stay up-to-date with current online promotions and incorporate them into interactions with customers.
  • Utilise SAP to understand stock availability for online orders.
  • Liaise with the Accounts Department regarding pricing, invoices, and credit issues.
  • Collaborate with the Distribution Manager to maximise delivery routes.
  • Coordinate with the Distribution and Warehousing teams for last-minute changes or customer requirements.
  • Work closely with the Accounts team to process refunds or credits accurately and promptly.

Requirements:

  • Experience in handling customer calls and emails, both inbound and outbound.
  • Computer literacy is essential and ideally knowledge with SAP or similar.
  • Results-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and energetic, with a strong desire to achieve.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with internal and external parties.
  • Strong team player who can adapt to the needs of the team and customers.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset to overcome obstacles.
  • Flexible in managing workload during busy periods and adhering to deadlines.
