Our client is a renowned fashion brand that has been at the forefront of sustainable and ethical fashion for nearly 20 years. They are a small but passionate team who due to continued growth and success, are now looking for a driven and creative Assistant Buyer to join their dynamic team in South London. THE ASSISTANT BUYER ROLE:
In this role, you'll support the buying and design team by developing trend-led product ranges and managing supplier relationships. You'll oversee the critical path to ensure timely product delivery, maintain strong relationships with suppliers, and champion sustainable practices. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience and grow your career.
ASSISTANT BUYER ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- Previous experience in an Assistant Buyer role
- Excellent analytical and creative skills
- Strong commercial awareness and knowledge of future trends
- Understanding of sustainability practices and sourcing
- Confident communicator and negotiator, with the ability to influence at all levels
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work to tight deadlines
