National Accounts Manager

Our Client, a market-leading service provider to the hospitality industry, are looking for a National Account Manager to drive commercial value. This role focuses on looking after existing businesses and tending to contracts ensuring they are commercially viable.

  • Client Retention and Growth: Maintain and expand our national client portfolio.
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with client hotels.
  • Contract Management: Review, renew, and negotiate contracts and pricing.
  • Team Oversight: Supervise Area Service Managers for selective sites.
  • Travel: Flexibility to travel and work nationally as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent the company positively during client visits.
  • Support the Senior Account Director in managing client accounts.
  • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual review meetings.
  • Ensure commercial contract viability.
  • Handle day-to-day enquiries and provide full customer support.
  • Train new customers and Area Service Managers.
  • Liaise with the account management team on activities and issues.
  • Attend service review meetings with customers and internally.
  • Arrange customer visits to production facilities.
  • Manage customer account closures.
  • Draft price lists and proposals.
  • Assist with drafting new customer contracts.
  • Submit weekly and monthly reports.
  • Report service or quality issues to General Managers.
  • Fulfil other reasonable tasks for the benefit of the business.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Excellent people, planning, and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrated flexibility with a hands-on approach.
  • Strong relationship-building abilities.
  • Experience in contract management and negotiation.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
