An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Resource Team Administrator to support the Lead Resource Manager and Regional Resource Managers. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the administrative functions of the Resource Team, including assisting with communication to various stakeholders outside of the Resource Management department.

The Candidate;

  • Previous experience within the logistics / transport sector is highly desirable
  • A proven and strong background within a administration or resource position
  • A high level of attention to detail.
  • Experience in resource management or planning is beneficial but not essential.
  • High level of attention to detail while working to deadlines.
  • Knowledge of ATOSS is beneficial but not essential.
  • Knowledge of purchase order systems is beneficial but not essential.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Competent decision making
  • Computer literate
  • Have a flexible and adaptable approach
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills

Duties and Responsibilities;

  • Support Resource Managers with communications to all stakeholders.
  • Assist Resource Managers in maintaining the resource system as needed.
  • Coordinate with the Analyst team to support the creation of management information related to the resource function.
  • Provide general administrative support, including maintaining a capability matrix, collating overtime availability across locations, and producing summary plans for the field management team
  • Review drivers' hours submissions from agencies and, with LTM authorization, raise, send, and track the appropriate Purchase Orders.
  • Raise, send, and track the appropriate Purchase Orders for driver medicals, random D&A tests, and external training providers.
  • Plan all periodic driver training, including annual refreshers and defensive driving training, and, in conjunction with the Operations Training Manager, plan and arrange all driver ADR renewals.
  • Maintain a driver capabilitymatrix and plan training accordingly to ensure driver capability aligns with requirements.
  • Support Resource Managers with stakeholder communications.
  • Maintain and update the resource system as necessary.
