Job Summary :
WE'RE EXPANDING OUR SALES TEAM HERE AT WAVE TALENT AND WE'RE TAKING ON OUR FIRST COHORT OF WAVE ACADEMY RECRUITERS TO PLAY A KEY ROLE IN FORMING THE FUTURE VISION OF THE BUSINESS.

THIS IS AN IDEAL POSITION FOR CANDIDATES WITH BASIC SALES EXPERIENCE (1-3 YEARS) LOOKING TO BUILD AN ADVANCED CAREER IN SALES. YOU WILL PLAY A KEY PART IN INCREASING OUR EVER-GROWING BUSINESS NETWORK AMONGST CLIENTS AND CANDIDATES WITHIN THE TECH INDUSTRY.

HERE'S WHAT OUR ACADEMY LEAD HAS TO SAY:

"We're so excited to launch our wave academy, starting with you. This dedicated programme will equip you with all the tools needed to start a career in tech recruitment. You will have direct support from me as the academy lead with 7 years of experience and you'll also learn directly from our experienced senior leadership team. This hands-on programme will be designed to give you a head start and set you up for a career within wave talent. This is a real opportunity to become a high earner at a young age, something many careers do not give you so early on.

Duties:

  • Source and attract candidates for various tech roles using innovative recruitment strategies.
  • Engage with potential candidates through LinkedIn, and industry events to build a robust talent pipeline.
  • Conduct initial screenings and interviews to assess candidates' qualifications and fit for roles.
  • Collaborate with senior recruiters to understand client needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
  • Facilitate communication between candidates and clients, ensuring a smooth recruitment process.
  • Secure placements for candidates with clients and add new clients to our ever-growing portfolio.

Experience :

  • A recent graduate or entry-level candidate with a passion for sales with an interest in technology.
  • Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with people.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or sales role (1-3 yrs). e.g. Estate Agent, Door-to-door Sales, Account Executive, Graduate with Sales experience e.g. Worked at Waitrose whilst studying.

UPON COMPLETION OF THE WAVE ACADEMY PROGRAMME, YOU WILL BE ENROLLED AS A TECH RECRUITER WITH OUR SALES TEAM AND ALLOCATED A TEAM WITH A DEDICATED AND EXPERIENCED TEAM LEAD.

WE HAVE A STRUCTURED CAREER PROGRESSION FRAMEWORK IN PLACE TO ALLOW FOR TRANSPARENCY AND CLEARLY DEFINED TARGETS. YOU WILL BE ABLE TO GROW IN MANY DIFFERENT AREAS AFTER GETTING EXPOSURE AND TRAINING, ENABLING YOU TO MAKE AN INFORMED CHOICE OF WHERE YOU'D LIKE TO TAKE YOUR FUTURE.

  • ASSESSMENT DAY AT THE WAVE HQ - (19TH & 21ST NOVEMBER 2024)
  • 45 MINUTE FINAL CHAT - (22nd NOVEMBER 2024)

Pay: £27,500.00 per year
