- Provide expert advice on designing and implementing cloud security strategies.
- Conduct security assessments and audits of cloud infrastructures.
- Advise on cloud security best practises, ensuring compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements.
- Consult on security measures for migrating mainframe systems to cloud platforms.
- Ensure secure transfer and integration of data and applications.
- Develop and recommend security policies and procedures for mainframe transitions.
- Effectively communicate complex technical information to senior management and non-technical stakeholders.
- Provide strategic advice on cyber security considerations and risk mitigation.
- Develop and deliver training programmes to enhance security awareness among project staff.
- Stay updated with the latest cyber security threats and technologies.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide actionable recommendations for mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with IT teams to align security solutions with project goals.
- Ensure compliance with relevant UK financial regulations and standards.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for security policies, procedures, and recommendations.
- Support internal and external audits, providing required information and documentation.

- Experience in engaging with senior executives and board members.
- Strong analytical skills to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Proven ability to provide effective security recommendations in a project setting.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or similar.
- Cloud-specific certifications like AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate, etc., are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cyber security, with a focus on cloud security and mainframe environments.
- Demonstrated experience in consulting and providing security expertise for large-scale projects.
