Senior Finance Assistant

My distinguished client based outside Ashford is a local success story having in enjoyed year on year growth. They are now looking to bring in a Senior Finance Assistant to assist the finance team for an initial 9-month FTC to assist in the implementation of a new ERP system.

" Gather and validate data from existing software for transfer onto a new ERP system. Whilst working within given deadlines.

" Offering support and involved in the month end procedure across all functions to include:

o Sales Ledger

Working alongside the sales ledger team, during busy periods.

Validating customer and sales data and preparing files for upload to the new software

o Purchase Ledger

Working alongside the purchase ledger team, during busy periods.

Validating supplier and purchasing data and preparing files for upload to the new software

o Nominal Ledger

Involvement within all areas, to include bank, asset, stock, overheads and foreign exchange.

The ideal candidate will bring advanced excel skills with a working knowledge of SAP and a finance background.

My client is looking to fill this role as a matter of urgency so you must be available immediately or at short notice.
