Junior Management Accountant - £32,000 - £34,000 + study support – (hybrid working) West Byfleet, Surrey
Trace Recruit is delighted to be supporting the Finance Controller of a leading cleaning supplier located in Surrey, who is on the hunt for a Junior Management Accountant.
Our client are looking for an energetic and driven individual where they can grow within the company.
About Your New Role:
- Posting weekly bank payments/receipts.
- Weekly bank reconciliation.
- Allocating customer receipts.
- Submission of payment runs & ad hoc payment requests.
- Collecting direct debits for invoices due.
- Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Supporting the preparation of management accounts & month-end duties.
- Analysing P&L transactions.
- Checking for abnormal charges & reallocating costs where necessary.
- Accurately prepare monthly accrual & prepayment journals.
- Raising invoices.
- Liaising between clients and operations team to manage the monthly billing process.
- Preparing & submitting monthly contract billing.
- Investigate client queries in a timely manner.
- Opportunity to implement new processes where appropriate & work on special projects
- Ad hock AR duties.
Your Skills & Qualifications:
- Exceptional organisational, time management and relationship skills.
- A couple of years' experience in a similar role.
- Good admin.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to detect mistakes.
- Good communication skills, verbal and written.
- Comfortable working with Excel and spreadsheets.
- Good understanding of debits and credits.
