Junior Management Accountant - £32,000 - £34,000 + study support – (hybrid working) West Byfleet, Surrey

Trace Recruit is delighted to be supporting the Finance Controller of a leading cleaning supplier located in Surrey, who is on the hunt for a Junior Management Accountant.

Our client are looking for an energetic and driven individual where they can grow within the company.

About Your New Role:

  • Posting weekly bank payments/receipts.
  • Weekly bank reconciliation.
  • Allocating customer receipts.
  • Submission of payment runs & ad hoc payment requests.
  • Collecting direct debits for invoices due.
  • Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Supporting the preparation of management accounts & month-end duties.
  • Analysing P&L transactions.
  • Checking for abnormal charges & reallocating costs where necessary.
  • Accurately prepare monthly accrual & prepayment journals.
  • Raising invoices.
  • Liaising between clients and operations team to manage the monthly billing process.
  • Preparing & submitting monthly contract billing.
  • Investigate client queries in a timely manner.
  • Opportunity to implement new processes where appropriate & work on special projects
  • Ad hock AR duties.

Your Skills & Qualifications:

  • Exceptional organisational, time management and relationship skills.
  • A couple of years' experience in a similar role.
  • Good admin.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to detect mistakes.
  • Good communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Comfortable working with Excel and spreadsheets.
  • Good understanding of debits and credits.
